Do I have to sign up to add a feed?

Yes. Since feeds are attached to your profile, you must sign up as a member to add feeds. Becoming a member also allows you to save favorites, rank feeds, and comment on feeds and articles, among many other features.

Does everyone have access to feeds I add?

Yes.  MyFeedSpace does not currently support private feeds.  If you have a need for this functionality please contact us at info@myfeedspace.com.

How long do feeds stay on MyFeedSpace?

Feeds stay on MyFeedSpace until we are requested (in writing) to remove them (from the feed owner, not the submitter) or we determine the feed is no longer active. Feeds which violate the terms of use and have been flagged may be removed by MyFeedSpace.

What RSS formats can I add?

MyFeedSpace accepts XML, RSS 0.9, 1.0, 2.0 and Atom feed formats.

Is there a limit to how many feeds I can add?

No! We encourage members to add as many feeds as they want.

How do I add a feed?

IF you want to add a feed directly from a website:

Most websites will signify they have a feed with one of the following images:

, or  or, , or

Variations may exist but most will look similar to one of the above images.  The images are generally near the bottom of the page.  In most cases you can right click the image, select "Copy Shortcut"  and then paste the URL directly into the MyFeedSpace URL box on the "Add Feed" page.

If you know a feed URL:

Simply click the "Add Feed" icon near the top right of any page on the MyFeedSpace website, put the URL in the URL Box, select the appropriate category and language, and mark the feed as a blog or mature content, if applicable (sexually explicit material is NOT allowed on MyFeedSpace).  Then click the "Continue" button.  If the URL is valid our system will automatically retrieve the feed and you will be given a chance to preview the settings.  Clicking "Submit" will add the feed to our system and your feeds page.

If you want to add a feed for a topic and do not know a URL:

A great place to start is on www.syndic8.com.  Search for a topic (middle of the page) and on the results page simply right click on one of the feed images on the left to copy the shortcut.  Paste the URL in the URL box on the MyFeedSpace "Add Feed" page as continue as above.

What happens to the feeds I add if I delete my account?

Ownership of the feed is moved to the "Public Feeds" account.
